    When Should You Book Your Light Take Down:

We start our Christmas light removal service in early January and continue through to the end of February. Need your lights taken down later in the year? We offer light removal services throughout the year, subject to demand and crew availability and an off-season surcharge.

Pricing for Christmas Light Take Down Services:

  • The removal cost for Christmas lights is 40% of the installation price, with a minimum charge of $90 plus GST.

  • Take-down charges may be higher for lights not installed by Grey Rock or for trees where the lights have been in place for multiple years.

  • Take-downs scheduled outside of January and February will incur a $30 out-of-season surcharge and will be completed intermittently based on demand and availability.
